American Alpha def. The Revival (NXT Tag Team Championship) This was just as good of a match as expected, with the champions Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson showing off their blend of fundamental ability and traditional heel wrestling tactics. Any rally they mounted was thwarted by the absolutely red-hot American Alpha. That included an impressive mix of suplexes from Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, who also added his usually injection of energy when he got a “hot tag” toward the middle of the match....

Newsome made the comments following a meeting with Adams that was live-streamed on Instagram. Though the two agreed on several points, they clashed over bringing back plainclothes cops in order to combat the city’s rising violent crime rates. “If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” Newsome said to reporters outside of Brooklyn Borough Hall after the meeting....

An estimated 56,000 employees of the city’s 938 nonpublic schools will have to show proof of at least one dose by Dec. 20. Rabbi David Zwiebel, chairman of the Committee of NYC Religious and Independent School Officials, wrote a letter to de Blasio stating the committee “firmly opposes” the decision. “While we support and generally encourage COVID vaccination in our schools, and while in fact the large majority of our schools’ employees are so vaccinated, most of our schools do not insist upon such vaccination as a condition of employment....

Last weekend, the New York PD received a phone call that a teenager from the Upper East Side had gone missing and hadn’t been heard from in several hours. The teen had disappeared from home at least once before, so the NYPD took the situation seriously and immediately began investigating for the boy’s whereabouts. After checking the same location he’d previously been found in to no avail, 25-year-old NYPD officer Gary Strebel investigated at the boy’s home....

The selection committee picked a jumbo squad of 35 players to play three T20Is and two Test matches in New Zealand. However, Malik was a notable exclusion. Shoaib Malik stated that only the chief selector can answer the question about his exclusion. Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq had said earlier that the team had decided to focus on youngsters who would be available for all formats of the game. He highlighted that as the reason behind the exclusion of senior players like Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Amir....

John Zimmerman, who is from North Carolina, appeared as a Department of Justice (DOJ) witness in federal court during the trial of five other members. During his testimony, Zimmerman said he witnessed a call that Rhodes received in September 2020. While listening to Rhodes’ end of the call, Zimmerman was under the impression that the leader was in contact with a Secret Service agent, he testified. It is unclear if federal prosecutors know the identity of the Secret Service agent who was allegedly in contact with Rhodes....
