According to a recent report, UK retailer Scan, which specializes in PC hardware, has said that it has been unable to list the new-yet-old Nvidia GPU and will only be doing so once the company receives “sufficient supplies” of the RTX 2060 12 GB. Speaking to the source, the retailer says that the reason for not listing it is to make sure that pre-orders aren’t being taken when there is no certainty as to when customers will be able to receive the graphics card....

In a recent hardware test conducted by Videocardz, it looks as though the upcoming budget card from Nvidia outperforms AMD’s latest equivalent by around 24%. The test was performed though 3DMark Time Spy, a piece of benchmark software for Windows 10, and it shows that the RTX 3050 is somewhat faster than the RX 6500 XT. Given that the former is said to launch with an MSRP of $250, making it $50 more expensive than the latter, it would make sense for Nvidia’s card to outperform its rival in some respects....

Shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the NYPD evacuated an apartment building in the Bronx that had caught on fire. As police tried to clear the scene so the firefighters could get in and out of the building, citizens on the street became argumentative, demanding to be let back into the building, according to the New York Daily News.
