As well as being a manufacturer of motherboards, NZXT specializes in additional computer accessories and components. Last year, NZXT revealed a limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 PC case. There was also one themed around My Hero Academia, which was unveiled a few months ago. The company also makes coolers, power supply units, as well as peripherals, such as keyboards and mice, and gaming accessories like mouse pads. In terms of motherboards, the company has only been making them since 2018, but its products have been praised for their minimalist design, and this latest one represents its newest offering for the modern PC enthusiast.

The N7 Z790 ATX is set to release in Q4 2022 and will be priced at $299.99 MSRP. It will feature support for the most up-to-date generations of Intel processors such as the i9 12900KS, which was announced back in January, as well as the upcoming 13th gen Raptor Lake that’s due out this year. It’s also compatible with previous gen i7 and i5 CPUs. On top of that, the Z790 will offer support for PCIe gen 5 and DDR5 RAM, as well as come with 8-channel high-definition audio, and three M.2 connectors for storage. Upon release, the motherboard will be available in two variations, black and white, and have plenty of external USB ports.
As well as this, the company has been dipping its toes into yet another branch of gaming/computer hardware. NZXT entered the capture card market back in June, revealing its Signal brand, which allows content creatures to capture gaming footage. In general, it seems the LA manufacturer is only too keen to balance many plates.
As mentioned above, with the NZXT N7 Z790 ATX motherboard coming around the same time as the next-gen Nvidia Ada Lovelace architecture and AMD’s RDNA 3 graphics cards, there’s quite a lot on offer for the budding PC gamer. The Z790 sounds like it’s going to be a nice bit of kit for those looking to put together their next rig.
