It appears to get even better. At the time of writing, an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT from XFX is currently 36% off, selling for $900, while a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti is going for just under $1,200, representing a 26% discount. Of course, that’s still pretty expensive, but those who have been waiting patiently in the wings for GPUs to drop to their MSRPs may finally be able to snag the hardware they’ve been hoping for.

By contrast, the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti, which released in March of this year, is just 10% off and is selling for $2,038 for the MSI SUPRIM X model. Given that the 3090 Ti was something of a let-down, representing only a small increase in performance while showing a significant price markup when compared to its predecessor, many may still not be willing to part ways with their hard-earned cash for this one. However, it is probably worth a look before Prime Day ends tomorrow, in case there are any GPUs that are worth the current value. Alternatively, the Zotac version of the RTX 3080 Ti is avaliable for 27% off at $1,199. If you’re looking for a cheaper option as a GPU upgrade, the 3070 Ti is on sale for just under $700.

On top of that, graphics card prices are generally coming down anyway, with the most recent figures showing that there’s been at least a 50% fall since the start of 2022. All things considered, purchasing a brand-new Nvidia or AMD graphics card is still going to set people back, and prices may continue to fall long after Prime Day has finished anyway.
