With one click, users can call up a voter registration form–robbing the lazy of the usual complaint that registering is too big a hassle, and eliminating the problem of sloppy handwriting that disqualifies many potential voters. The form can then be printed out, signed and mailed in. Berman says that about 68 percent of people who print out the form follow through and get themselves registered. Facebook users can also use the site to update their address with voting officials if they move. Facebook has more than 10 million users. Rock the Vote hopes to convince 350,000 of them to register before the November election.
